The HABITENT came to life through a need for a boating product that provided both an adjustable external shelter and extra living space on our boat. Living on board can be a dull experience if you are unable to utilize the deck area.
After researching the various products available on the market, we discovered that the only canopies and enclosures available on the market today were limited in their application mainly by function, size, weight, high cost and are mostly unsuitable for easy storage and ease of fitting. Other canopies and shelters are mainly permanent bespoke fixtures and have an inherently high cost. The existing products haven’t changed in years and the market was desperate for a new and innovative solution. |
